We recently had the pleasure of working with Nathan Coe and the Hatcher Coe Group at Marcus & Millichap to complete a three-property portfolio sale in the self-storage commercial real estate market. This was a complex portfolio consisting of properties located along the entire East Coast, and selling it required working with someone who could familiarize themselves with each market individually and then promote the portfolio as a whole asset to a group of interested buyers. We, in conjunction with our partners, selected Nathan Coe and the Hatcher Coe Group more broadly because of their proven track record and experience when it comes to commercial real estate sales at Marcus & Millichap. Their reputation preceded them for all the right reasons. Nathan Coe took a hands-on approach to coordinating with both the buyer side and seller side in the way that was needed. He assisted in overseeing document management during an extensive due diligence process and was always willing to pick up the phone if any of us called. He relayed potential concerns from both sides with the utmost professionalism. Nathan’s experience with selling commercial real estate portfolios was crucial, as he was able to provide a professional opinion informed by comparable situations he had been involved in. Overall, the sale and closing were smooth, and that was in large part due to Nathan’s tremendous efforts.
