Nathan Coe called me on a few occasions asking if we had any interest in selling one of our self-storage facilities. Being in the storage business for several decades it’s not unusual to get these calls and I once again said, “I would prefer not to discuss a transaction like this over the phone, if you’re interested in selling, come see us.” It was just a week or so later Nathan was going to be near our facility and made arrangements to visit us. He was anything but a high pressure sell, rather listened and came up with reasonable expectations. There was no 6-month contract locked in but the promise of bringing a qualified buyer. One thing that stood out to us was his communication skills. Every step of the way we knew what was happening and the buyer he brought was the same. The process of selling and closing was as smooth as we could ask for. Everything Nathan said, he honored, and we would recommend dealing with him on any sale.
